REVIEW: Mai Tai'd Up by Alice Clayton

MAI TAI'D UP by Alice Clayton

So what can I say but Alice Clayton does it again!  This series is one of my favorites.  I love how all the characters are connected in some way and how easily Clayton moves us thru their journeys in finding their one and onlys!

All these books in this series can be read as stand alone but I HIGHLY recommend to read them all in order!  You will become addicted to this series :)

This book picks up right where we left off with Screwdrivered.  We 1st had a nibble of who Chloe Patterson was when she visited her hunky cousin Clark!

Chloe is looking to start a new life on her own.  She finally breaks free from her controlling pageant mom & the life she thought she wanted in San Diego.  She wants a fresh start and what better way to do it with starting a dog rescue and rehabilitation center on her dad's holiday house they use to visit once a year.

Alice Clayton delivers again with laugh out loud humor and takes is for another fun ride from Chloe's POV.

Being new to this small town, she quickly meets all the locals.  One local she meets is Vet doctor, Lucas Campbell!  Talk about hottie Ginger of a man who is totally Chloe's "kyrptonite"as she calls it!  He is everything Chloe likes, and it seems that she is what he likes to.

This is who I totally pictured as Lucas:

Ken Bek (totally hot Ginger Model)

Ok enough drooling, so once Chloe and Lucas meet, instant chemistry!  The dialogue between the 2 of them had me cracking up with the wise cracks and subtle ways they were telling one another that they totally are into each other.

Lucas is just one hottie Vet who I would just get a so I could visit him at his clinic!  He had me swooning and wanting him to play Dr. for me!  Lucas is such a caring and family man who likes to have fun.  He has fun making Chloe blush at any chance he can get.
I want it all.  I want all encompassing, knock your socks off, can't live without you, can't be in a room without wanting you naked, love. -Chloe
Well you will have to read and find out if Chloe finds it!

Story was very entertaining, funny, & I liked a lot how Chloe's witty inner mind comes out on to the pages.
