Wow! J.L. Berg knows how to make you fall straight into the characters of her story. I sooo felt everything Lailah was going thru emotionally.
Pudding Snacks will now always mean something different to me.
Loved this story about Laliah & Jude. Loved how 2 people from different ways of life can be united by events they had no clue had them together in the past.
I loved Jude hard reading this book. He is a guy who we all dream about having once in our lifetime. If you can find a Jude, don't let him get away. Keep him :) Jude falling in love with Laliah had my heart swelling big. He totally won me over. Jude has issues of his own with expressing himself and Laliah makes him want to better himself. He wants to make her happy and doing that has him realizing that he needs to work on himself in order to accomplish that.
Laliah is pure innocence.. Jude helps her feel like she can live her life even under the circumstances she is under. He makes her closed in world into an open canvas of possibilities and reality.
I really liked how J.L. Berg makes you believe & feel the emotions of her characters. I cried, laughed and totally swooned reading this book.
Read this story & feel the love that radiates out of it.
