It is because this book just broke me in such a good way.
Such a heartbreaking, angsty, loving story.
I just wanted to hug Sean and hold onto him tight. His life has been rough and when he meets Shayla, he comforts her and she in return comforts him back with his self doubt from his tortured past. A good dose of two broken hearts who help each other find out that love can be possible no matter what the circumstances are.
Great overall character development, storyline and a nice surprise ending that had my cherries popping in excitement.
Loved all these books in this series which can be read as standalones.
