I was blown away with this story.
Kace was introduced to us in her Bourbon series which of course you must read if you haven't already.
Kace had my heart along with him while reading this book. I wanted to hug him, heal him and was so happy he had Layla there to show him that he can move past his sins and tortured past. HE is one hot boxer who I would love to have a couple of rounds in his ring with him!
The chemistry between him and Layla was sweet, hot & just beautifully written.
I liked how this story was told in Kace POV. It goes from present and past times in his life. the story flowed well and I felt it gives us enough information on how to understand Kace.
You want to read a story that will capture your heart and take you on an emotional ride of emotions, this is the book for you!
Go read this book! I highly recommend it!
