Inching closer, her toes nudged aside sharp blades as she made her way to me and fell to her knees on the cold concrete.

Half of me jolted with insane lust. Most of me shied away with repulsion as her straggly hair covered her face but not before I saw the twisted disgust and echoing despair.

“Get up,” I murmured. Even though my voice was low, the cavern of the garage amplified it, layering it with bite.

Instantly, she swooped up. The crackle of her joints and misused cartilage in her bones sounded like tiny gunfire.

“Don’t kneel. Not in here.”

What a Romance!

Like I am still in recovery mode from what I just read from the always dark and twisted +Pepper Winters 

Wow!  Are y'all ready to meet Elder?

Are you looking for a dark romance that will gut you to the core and spit it back out in your face kind of drama???

I am sooo in awe of this new series by Pepper Winters 

This book takes us into a great setup for what is to come in the series.  I enjoyed getting the backstory of  Tasmin how she is captured as a sex slave.  

Yes this book has scenes not for the faint at heart.  I flinched at moments hurting for Tasmin and my cherries were feeling like they were being crushed!

When Elder is brought into the story, just wow!  He blew my breathe away.  

I am not sure whether I will want to hate or love him after this book but I am anticipating what Pepper Winters will have him do in the rest of this series.

I can't wait for the next installment!
